Board of Directors

Human Rights & Responsibilities Australia is managed by a Board of Directors whose task is to control and manage the affairs of the company. Consequently the Board determines what activities should be carried out to achieve the objectives of the association and sees that those activities are carried through to a successful result.

The current directors are:

  • Cecile Vowles - Managing Director and CEO
  • Colston Vowles - Secretary and Public Officer
  • Kevin Smith - Treasurer
  • Lyndon Arthurson
  • Natasha Holbrook
  • Natasha Tsalolikhin
  • Nigel Mannock

The directors are elected annually. In order to stand for election as a director a candidate must be able to demonstrate that they:

  1. agree with, and are committed to applying in their daily life, the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the precepts of the Way to Happiness (a non religious, practical moral code that provides fundamental guides to behaviour) , which are Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 respectively of the Constitution of Human Rights & Responsibilities Australia, and
  2. will be a productive director,
  3. are a paid up member of Human Rights & Responsibilities Australia.
